I offer school photography and kindergarten photography for children in the Wellington region for the past decade and have developed a style that I believe fits in well with how the education system has evolved over the years.  Gone are the days of rowed seating and hands on knees with absent children and eyes shut.  You’ll never find a forced smile or a cloud background in my work.  

I’m heavily involved with my own local schools, current acting Chair of the Board and often volunteer to help out and cover photography at special events in the community.  It’s fair to say I just love working with children!  

My school class photographs are taken in an outdoor or indoor setting.  For indoor, the children are photographed in small groups and the files are digitally put together so it looks like they were taken at the same time.  This is ideal for children who are away on their rostered photography times and also for children with diverse learning needs.  I pride myself on getting a very high strike rate of attendance for photos.  Outdoor photographs are taken as ‘one shot’ and the children are set up with natural poses. Each child is also photographed individually as a head/shoulder and also a close up head shot.  I welcome sibling sittings too – a real favourite amongst parents.

The ordering process is simple – parents are sent a link to their child’s password protected album.  They can either order digital or hard copy prints through the website or by returning the printed form.  My prices are very affordable, starting from $10 per printed photo and I offer very good discounts for digital package orders.  Class/group photos are $14.

We can also include photographs for staff (both group and individual), and also sport groups. Talk to us about covering your special school event too!
