What a beautiful day spent yesterday celebrating the wedding of Tim and Lisa. We met Lisa and her girls at their stunning apartment in Thorndon – overlooking their much loved Wellington Stadium. We had their pre ceremony photos with Lisa’s parents in the gardens in their apartment complex – so beautiful! The bride looked stunning in an elegant dress from Paperswan Bride.

The journey to the ceremony was very short – less than a few minutes drive to one of Wellington’s most highly regarded venues, Old St Pauls. A very impressive church, constructed from timber. We met up with Tim and grabbed a few photos before the big moment.

It was fitting that Lisa walked into the sound of ‘Here Comes the Bride’, playing on the traditional Pipe organ. Bridesmaid Amelia was a professional singer so she gave a fabulous rendition of Ave Maria during the ceremony.

After the family photos (featuring a visit from their family dog), we headed off to Wellington Botanic Gardens for bridal party photos. We had our work cut out for us as the majority of the flower beds had been turned over so we had to be clever with the camera angles!

The reception was held on Wellington Harbour, at the Boat Shed. A ideal choice since Lisa and Tim are avid rowers. A memorable wedding with a real Wellington feel to it. I worked alongside videographer Byron and his team from Moments Productions – they’re pretty clever at what they do too!

Congratulations Tim and Lisa. We feel like good friends having been a part of your special day and no doubt we’ll keep in touch.
